Pumped Up Kicks

Back to the blog. After a month, finally got a chance to record another one. This is that well-known Foster The People song, "Pumped Up Kicks" but with the acoustic style with some harmonica thrown in. Not much more to say about that... more recordings, covers and originals, to come soon.

Zebra

This is an acoustic cover of "Zebra," which is the opening song off of the band, Beach House's second record. They call this type of music dream pop... or something. It's a great sound. Saw them once, opening up for Vampire Weekend. Watching them play their mellow, floaty songs does give you that dreamy feel. Really neat.

A Better Place, A Better Time

With the recent comeback of our ska act, Coastal Evacuation, I've decided to record a cover of one of my top favorite songs from Streetlight Manifesto. This is called, "A Better Place, A Better Time" from the album, "Everything Goes Numb." A great ska-punk album. Personally, I like these songs a bit better acoustically.
